Operation Christmas Child Relay Center

Christ & St. John's Church

Christ & St. John's Church is an Operation Christmas Child Relay Center. Every year, Operation Christmas Child's Shoebox Collection Week takes place the third week in November. Relay Centers such as ours are open to collect shoe boxes filled with gifts of school supplies, personal hygience items, sewing and fishing kits, and a toy for a child.

Every gift filled shoe box is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship - tranforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Foreign Missions

Christ & St. John's Church

Christ & St. John's sent out its first missionary in July 2015, as a part of the Northern Ireland Youth Mission Team through the Episcopal Diocese of Albany.

The mission team of 10 teens and 4 adults traveled to Londonderry and Belfast Ireland. The journey began at Summer Madness, Ireland’s premiere Christian festival. This provided an opportunity for the team to meet other teens, who love the Lord and want to deepen their faith. The team also participated in a mission outreach program, called Streetreach. There they worked with local teens, to reach out and share the Gospel through offering their services of repairs, cleaning, and a Vacation Bible School program.
